Welcome to Swimmercise

Hi! You may remember we had a bit of a forum here, but it got over-run with people who weren't particularly interested in swimming for exercise. So it is time for a fresh start.

The best posts will be returning to the site - we've started with the excellent how to do the breast stroke guide.

But we're thinking of a more "newsy/survey" approach to the site, coupled with some useful features. For example, we're working on a lap converter so you can find out how your local pool compares to Olympic standards and work out how many laps you'd need to swim for it to be a mile.

There will be more items on water-based exercise that isn't swimming, too.
